Public awareness of the prostate cancer remains low and we do not know enough about what causes the condition or how best to treat it. One way in which this situation can be remedied is for people to Speak Out on prostate cancer, raising the profile of this major killer and encouraging the Government to act so that prostate cancer patients will no longer report a poorer experience of their care than other cancer patients.

In October 2005, the Prime Minister, leaders of the main opposition parties and a large number of other Parliamentarians joined us in speaking out on prostate cancer as part of the world’s first ever Audio Day Motion.
